This role play is in a setting that is that combines Firefly, Cowboy Bebop, and Outlaw star together. Alot of the same technologies are used here, this universe is filled with wild characters, that may or may not be human. The main focus is a group of characters who have banded together to form the crew of an old industrial vessel. They are a group of strange misfits to say the least. ((Basic setting information))

Bio/Breif history: who are they and where do they come from?
Where did your character grow up, did they join the military, Why did they leave, What was their former occupation, Why are they here?
Special Equipment- Did keep special items, and how did they get them? What do these items do? Keep in mind these things are special, things like castors fall into this category.
Regular Equipment- What kinds of things do they use that are considered normal? Weapons ect?

Her species is a hybrid of a fox and a human. Its not necessarily a human with fox characteristics. Her species comes from a place that was similar to earth except populated by tribal canines. These canines were mixed and varied, they resemble were creatures.
They seem to be Canines that can walk upright much like a human or run on all fours. Her species was a scavenger race eating what they could and surviving as best as possible. Their world was a rural plains and mountain planet, so they are used to varying climates, this world is now highly industrialized but still a paradise because they have regulated how buildings are built and have tried to avoid destroying much of its original ecology.
Physical appearance-
Lilith is then kind of lanky and very slender, she is built like most vixens. She has purple eyes which have been able to change coloration through mood, though it is unknown weather or not this is light on her eyes or if they actually do change.Her fur is a sandy Tan coloration with bits of red and some black mixed in in places much like a husky. Her glove markings are a mix of blackish brown as well as her ear tips, Her tail is your typical white tip.
Lilith typically wears your average kinds of clothing, though it depends on her situation and where she is at the time. Her normal outfit for going into public is something you might see in an old western. She wears a long black leather duster, black jeans and a red shirt,Then she wears a black hat similar to the one used in van hellsing. (((only way to describe the hat)))
When she is snipping or getting ready for a job, she usually changes into an old military styled special forces look. She takes off the coat and hat, opting to wear a tactical visor,and a simple piece of old body armor that humans used to use, called a tactical combat vest.
She usually has her holsters visible and a combat knife on her shoulder. When snipping she adds a special gillie suit that she kept from her old war days. This gillie suit has an optical camouflage system that covers her back and face rendering her almost invisible,unless she discharges a weapon or moves too much. (running)
When she is on the ship casually she wears mostly respectable things unless she is sleeping, She usually wears a loose tank top, and some medium length cargo shorts. IF she is asleep however she might just be in in minimal clothing.
Personality-
Lilith in general is a very kind individual, though she is very rough. Though really that's to be expected she is a former soldier after all. Lilith likes reading books in her spare time and is sometimes seen drooling in her sleep with a book laying on her chest. She has a tendency for frustration and has a quick temper at times, which can make her slightly vindictive at times.
She doesn't smoke really except to calm her nerves when she is on a space craft. Being someone who is used to fighting their enemy on the ground, she is weary of ships or transport shuttles. To her they are little more than a flying coffin, because your relying on your pilot rather than your own skills. She is prone to claustrophobia mainly when it comes to outer space and sometimes has freaked out while inside of a space suit.
The one thing you can do however is count on her to always have your back no matter what. She has a tendency that when someone needs her she will be there kind of attitude. If you need help in space by god she will rescue you even if it freaks her out. She has never been one to shirk a job or leave it half done. She is a bit jumpy around most dogs mainly out of instinct than true fear of them. She may not admit it even to herself but she has a deep love for Jacob, not as a lover but as someone who saved her from a hellish existence. Jacob is the one person she will go to any length for.
One odd thing about Lilith that has only happens in the last few years when she has been around jacob is she seems to have a new respect for life. She often goes out of the way to make it seem like she missed a target or hits them in a non vital area where they will still live after being shot. She will however shoot a person in self defense but never to kill unless there are no other options.
Lillith's darker side on the other hand loves killing, this personality as you might call it is her hunting instinct. This personality makes her cruel, deadly, and unafraid of death. She seems to genuinely enjoy what she does, but this personality is rarely seen thanks in large part to captain jacob.
Bio/brief history-
Lilith Morganu as she was born, was a small child orphaned at a young age. Her father and mother had died durring a bank robbery gone wrong when she about 5 years old. Both of her parents were cops, after her parents death she was shunted from foster home to foster home. It wasn't that she wasn't liked or wanted it was just the girl seemed to never be right, she had a blankness about her.
When she was in her teens she slowly started to grow though not in an expected way, she had always been smart talented. But she started to get into trouble, stealing, fighting, ect. She became a real handful for the rest of her teens, to say the very least.
When she was 18 and she graduated, her foster parents at the time felt enough was enough. They grew tired of her constant attitude, laziness, they felt it was time to grow up. This happened after she made some very rude remarks about her own parents,and the officers and people they died trying to help.
This straitened lilith out rather quickly, she had a strict lifestyle, people who she bunked with fought with, ate with, all of whom were diverse. During her time in boot camp she learned about a hidden talent, snipping.
After basic she was enlisted into the special forces sniping school, there she came into an element of her own. She was a natural very few officers had seen talent like this and she passed sniper training. After training she was sent out on various assignments all of which were classified, till eventually after 12 years (2x 6 year enlistments.) one of which she became an instructor. She joined Jacobs unit.
She and jacob became close friends after several missions. jacob was unusual to lilith he treated her more like a person rather than a weapon to be aimed and fired out. This changed lilith a lot and made her realize that she didn't want to be a sniper for much longer. After a failed mission in which Lilith essentially tried to commit suicide by trying to get left behind, she quit along with jacob.
She has been with him ever since.
Special equipment
Castor pistol- A special pistol she found many years ago from a dead enemy, at the time this castor was a single shot pistol. After that it became a love of hers though shells are still hard for her to get a hold of them being so rare. She had this one modified to hold a 3 shot revolver system, this was done so by another alchemist for her.
Canister rifle- This is a coil gun (gauss rifle) it fires more conventional rounds in a way that accelerates the bullets speed. This is achieved through magnetic coils that go down the barrel, there are only 5 coils, which basically gives it a muzzle velocity roughly 5 times faster than a normal bullet.
There is an under slung grenade launcher underneath the barrel allowing her to fire special 25mm canisters that are accurate and are able to spin. When they spin a certain number of times they explode. The effects are different depending on the round loaded into the grenade. This method of fire has been adapted by an alchemist she knows, to fire specially made Castor Grenades.
The rifle has a silencer, a barrel extension, and a variable rate of fire between 3 round bursts, and semi automatic. (EMP Grenades, Incendiary, frag, shot gun)
Optical gillie- This is an optical gillie suit, a suit of fine mesh designed to hide the person underneath totally from sight. The one catch however is it doesn't stop thermal imaging, and is visible depending on how fast she is moving. This gillie is a long cloak like peice fitting over her entire body and covering her head. It can also double as a rain jacket sometimes.
Regular equipment
.32 cal revolver- old western styled revolver using .32 cal bullets.
9mm hand gun- this is the only weapon she is permitted to carry when on the ship. It is usual armed with 6 rubber ammunition rounds, and 6 live rounds.
Combat bayonet- this is a combat knife that she carries on her shoulder, it is decent and her only defense in close quarters.
Switch blade-Hidden somewhere on her person or near her, this switch blade is always in a place so she is at the ready and never unarmed.
Tactical combat armor- old suit of Kevlar like armor she wears normally when she thinks there is going to be a fight.
M1- old old old weapon she keeps it's an old 8 shot rifle from back on earth, fires 30 cal bullets and is very accurate. She keeps this weapon as a mid range back up just in case.
Skills\alternate jobs-
Fighting-Close quarters evasive- Very defensive oriented version of CQC (Close quarters Combat), it relies on reacting and dodging your opponent before countering, twisting, and other such movements in order to hinder or kill them without being offensive. (spikes water form is the closest equivalent.)
Marksmanship-still keeps up on her marksmen skills, and sometimes competes professionally as a shooter both as a show shooter, and as a regular competitive shooter.
Tracking- her experience as a sniper has led her to becoming a part time bounty hunter on other planets.

User name: Raron Name: Jacob Moonfall Role: Captain Age: 37 Species: Human... mostly...
Physical Appearance: A tall man towering over most people of the 'verse Jacob stands out in any crowd not only because of his height but his appearance and attitude. His skin seems just a shade too pale, a bit too shiny, a bit... fake... but it is not fake skin but rather a strange effect of something upon him.
His eyes are a pale blue, pale to the shade of glacial ice but unusually enough around the pupil of the eye a ring of white circles the black, so white it seems to glow as it gazes back into your eyes. His smile while slightly waxen is quite genuine, gazing out at the world with amusement, a face of someone who has seen you, done that, and possibly bought the t-shirt when you were not watching and is willing to do it all over again. He seems to grin as a man just moments from laughing, the laugh lines on his checks deeply imprinted. The teeth of his smile seem in certain light to be... just a bit too long, just a bit too sharp... just a bit too... real.
His hair is long and pitch black, hanging down to the middle of his back and the front spiked artfully, several strands are the exception to this color, a sickly gray color streaks his hair in random places. These are constantly different colors, a different color each day as he seeks to find a shade of color that will hold in those streaks but thus far they all fade back to the sickly gray.
His build is wide shouldered but not a muscle bound behemoth, just a well built individual. His usual outfit consists of a mirrored pair of shades, and a mostly monocromatic outfit of unique style. Not one for colors to take away from himself he tends to stick to shades of white. A long thin white coat plastered on his back highlighted in silver, the back decorated with a single character in the old earth langauge 'Japanese" The character for 'foreigner'.
The right arm of his coat is normal length, hanging down to his wrist with bands of black belted around his bicep, his forearm, and at the wrist, each with tiny tongueless silver bells hanging from the buckles. His left arm sleeve is cut at the bicep though, revealing the well toned flesh beneath. Upon his flesh similar bands are buckled around his bicep, forearm, and wrist.
Underneath his coat a black sleeveless t-shirt resides and one his right hand a brown thick leather and fingerless glove resides, the back of it seemingly decorated with a strange stone on the back of the hand. The fingers of his hands are wrapped repeatedly with white linen as if covering an old injury. His right forearm has clamped to the forearm in addition to the band a strange looking bracer with a circular gray disc on the back of the forearm.
Several brown leather belts criss-cross his waist, on his left side dangling in a splendid white wooden sheath is a wakizashi of unusual design, the hilt wrapped in black fabric and the more unusual is it's hand guard which in addition to the usual circle guard of the Japanese style blades the fore finger is guards with what appears to be a piece of metal shaped like a woman's head, the face of an angel whose mouth is open as if crying one final tear, the silver circle of the hand guard her halo her face eternally warped by sorrow.
black pants under his belts and down upon his feet reside a pair of pointy classic spats, the white and black gleaming well polished. While his look is unusual unto itself what lies under his clothes is one of the reason for referring top himself as a foreigner, a stranger in even the strangest of lands. Beneath his rather unusual dress is an even more unusual body.
His chest is a testimony to the impact one man had on his life, a Y shaped cut upon his torso, big and bold and only mostly healed, it is the classic shape familar to any body who has seen a body after a dissection, the edges of the cut gleaming light green in the light, almost casting off their own light. This is odd unto itself, with his eyes giving him a slight eerie look but what takes that to another level entirely is his right arm.
His right arm is a corpse white thing, attached at the shoulder with ugly looking stitch scars , the arm seems full of angles that are just off, bones just barely off center, going all the way down to the wrist, the back of the hand houses a built in eye that is usually closed with waxy white lids while when they peel back a black eye with a blue pin point iris right in the center is revealed, the palm of the hand is regarded by some as hideous, usually just what seems to be a hole in the palm filled with needle shaped teeth all arranged in a circle, the lips quivering occasionally, but when the maw opens it reveals an expanse of black that seems without end, the teeth move tilting so they are jutting almost perpendicular from the hand and twitching and clawing greedily at the air. This fingers themselves are strange, slightly twisted, the fingers each turning to some strange form of organic straight razor blades from the second knuckle onward they seem to twitch slightly when idle... as if they were dreaming.
His legs are covered in strange shaped veins some just emerging from the skin to flow back into it, some threading just under the skin for inches before disappearing. His flesh, what it looks like, is why most of his flesh is usually covered up.
Personality: Despite the path his life has taken Jacob tends to look at the best side, his new body is more resilient then his old, his abilities increased, and the world seems... brighter, colors more intense he tries to look on the brighter side in what he does, very much a social person he loves to talk, to hear himself talk, to do things and sometimes... to have things done to him. He thrives in all life's interests in him and is good at what he does. Truth be told his vanity makes him unhappy with the white streaks in his hair, and in lonely times he watches his hand twitch and drinks as he does so but more or less he is happy... or tries to appear that way. He is loyal to his men, very loyal, and will never leave them behind no matter the cost.
Bio/Brief history: Jacob spent a good deal of his life as a soldier, he discovered he was a natural in the dealing of death, he had been taught by his father in swordplay till he was eighteen when a falling out made Jacob leave his ancestral home. He entered the military and teamed his skill with the blade with learning to use a gun, he quickly found his calling in special forces groups. He refused promotions and instead kept an eye on his 'little lads' his military career was one of distinction until the day he was captured by enemy forces. One of the soldiers under his command one Lilith, refused to give up on him, as he was hideously tortured she plotted and planed and infiltrated the base, rescued him from the med center they were trying to patch him up enough for another round of torture and got him back to their base.
Jacob lay in the hospital for a week, his eyes taken out, his organs kept going only by the machines that were hooked up to him, and his arm missing. He laid their but never stopped smiling, never stopped humming an incentive happy tune. Not even when they told him they would not be able to fix his broken body, his body was unable to accept cybernetics due to chemicals they had pumped into him in the tortures. He calmly thanked the doctors and went back to listening to the music in his head and started to plan how he was going to end his own life... that plan never got off the ground because his sniper took it upon herself to save him. She stole him from yet another med center, stole a military shuttle and got them off planet, she spent weeks finding the right doctor, the right black market surgeon and left Jacob in his care... only to return to find he had been used as a Genia pig. Experiment grafts slapped into his body, new organs, new parts, Jacob came to accept them in time through... and currently the two wanted by the military of their home planet are outlaws... and loving it.
Special Equipment- Flesh beyond flesh- Several of Jacob's abilities come from his new found flesh.
Right arm- His right arm is a custom made life form unto itself, it taps into his subconscious as well as his conscious mind as in itself semi sentient. He can see through it's eye and control it directly or let it autopilot and act on it's own. He has used it as self guiding gun turrent, letting it gunsling for him. It's quick razor sharp reflexes having saved him several times. The arm itself does not feed on his bodies chemicals but rather on the very force of 'magic' in the world, while most beings give off magic auras Jacob actually stands as a void of magic because of it, an empty space in a space of bright lights. This is just it's idle feeding it can actually devour incoming magical blast, this takes a moment and repeated uses are damaging to him and his arm but it is effective and all he needs to do most times is use it to get close and then... Let nature take it's course.
Eyes- Jacob's eyes are unusual, from a deep space creature they see colors human eyes could never see, they see heat and radiation as well but he tends to have a hard time seeing the difference in gray shades.
Teeth- Due to the interaction of his various organs Jacobs teeth are sharper and stronger then most.
Smell- Increased
Stomach- A organ grafted there from a predator Jacob's stomach is a very efficient organ that processes meat by seems unable to process most vegetables, because of this organs interactions with his brain when he goes prolonged time without food he tends to look for... other... sources of meat.
Liver- Good news he is almost impossible to poison, bad news, he has to drug himself just so he can get drunk.
Legs- By replacing veins and adding tendons Jacob's running speed is greatly increased, he can run 35 miles per hours at top speed.
Lungs- Jacob's new lungs are not actual organs, they are slightly bio engineered sponges they strip poisons out and actually feed on them while passing on oxygen. Theoretically there is almost nothing he can not now breath.
Skin- Jacob's skin is actually more durable then his original a strange substance it can actual survive in vacuum, keeping in heat and cold and preventing the negative effects of vacuum, as long as he wears a mask Jacob can actually survive in vacuum.
-Phantom Limb Syndrome- This is a scientific happening that occurs when people lose a limb, they 'feel' their original limb apart from the replacement. Due to grafts, and maybe his own power Jacob's 'limb' is actually more solid when he needs it to be. He can actually lift and manipulate objects with it. He typically uses it to reload his guns one handed when his newer arm is using one.

Character Name Melchoir, Void-Prince of House Jaccinte Age 27 role Magic user Species Jaccinte Wizard-Noble (Species uncertain)
Physical Appearance When the crew encounters him first, he appears in his traditional sensory deprivation suit - an eyeless, mouthless, noseless mask with two downward-curving horns out to the side, four fine silver chains with fine weights on the end dangling down to the length of the horns' tips. The robes of the suit reveal no arms or legs, their vibrant reds and eye-pulling blacks a harsh contrast to the silvery-grey of his mask as he hovers above the ground in absolute silence.
What the eyes perceive means nothing. He can see without the use of his eyes - and his gaze can be perceived, like jade eyes peering from the absolute blackness of his robes and the shadows around him. He speaks without a mouth, the chains resonating a pure, seamless tone to form sound and word. He does not apparently breathe, eat, or drink, yet he posseses a vitality that is percieved in the mind's eye. His life force suffuses the area immediately around his body. When he is calm, it is a faint fire-glow warmth. When angry, room temperature sharply drops - again, without actually cooling the air. When pleased, the heat is intense, but pleasant, like sunlight.
Without his robes, he appears as he chooses to appear, but most often as a woman - a female red fox. He favors dresses, modest clothing, but nonetheless very vibrant and sudden compared to the sensory deprivation suit. This form - while not a feminine so-called 'ideal' is a matter of pure preference. He does not apparently seem to have a single species that suits him most - he sometimes wears a different shape each day, or several on the same day.
personality Jaccinte Melchoir is at first reserved and upholds the mysterious aura surrounding the void-princes - mostly out of shyness. He is spontaneous, adventurous even, despite the harsh exterior he gives out under normal circumstances. Once he lets his hair down and feels comfortable doing so, he only adorns his deprivation suit when it is required of him.
"Mel" as he prefers enjoys tormenting and teasing his Kithservant, Donovan, by making him hand-wash feminine clothing, etc - simply to get "Bunny" out of himself. Mel means well, for certain, but modesty isn't something that comes naturally, and politeness, especially to unsavory elements (as he considers them - thieves and lawless men have a hard time, in his eyes, being worthwhile), does not come naturally to him. He has an unfortunate tendency to speak his mind in a world where people only rarely say what they mean.
There is some sort of love between Mel and Donovan.
Bio/brief history Born to House Jaccinte as its only son, he is destined to stand with his ancestors and guide his merchant-house to prosperity, as his father has done, and his before him, unto untold generations.
In other words, he had no choice in the matter.
Being who he is, Melchoir instinctively rebelled against this kind of preordained destiny and, taking "Bunny" with him with the first viable excuse to leave, he did so. Which brings us... here.
Special Equipment Sensory Deprivation Suit: This suit is made to be a containment unit for wild surges of power by forcing him to use excess to survive. He must sustain his cells, see, speak, and move himself all with his power while wearing this suit, providing excellent training and an efficient way to keep his powers in check. He can remain out of the suit for days, weeks at a time, but the buildup of energy, a curse of the kind of magic he wields, becomes hazardous to the world around him and toxic to his body, given time - a death sentence. By itself, the suit is not made of special materials, and is easily produced from common metals and fabrics.
Normal Equipment Special Skills/Alternate jobs As a Void-Prince, a tau wizard of the merchant houses that specializes in spacial-cognizance and distortion, his greatest ability is to see into the void of space, to know ship and crew by looking through the veil, not only his own, but others as well. With this special skill, merchant fleets avoid blockades as if they were insiders, dominate naval engagements with ease. Imagine a 3d map - now imagine you could see all points of it, and know exactly where your enemy is in relation to you at all times. This is the power of a Void Prince.
As forerunners of merchant-houses, the tau wizards of these noble families have developed a means of changing their physical form by believing they both don't exist, and exist in an infinite number of ways. Within the secret shroud of the deprivation robes, with no part of their bodies showing, they have no shape, no anatomy but what they decide they have. When they believe themselves to be one thing, they become that thing, even when the robes are removed. In any situation where they are in absolute darkness, or with their eyes shut and nobody looking at them, to similar effect. Matter, size, mass, weight, it means nothing.
For this reason, when wearing their traditional garb, they weigh simultaneously nothing and millions and millions of kilograms - an infinate weight. Thus, they are immovable and at the same time as temporal as a flowing breeze. Will means infinitely more in this state than reality, and because it not only occupies their bodies but suffuses the world around them, they can lash out with telekinetic energy and, with the most ancient users, alter the forces of gravity and magnetism itself. Mel is young, and has much to learn, but he can project barriers of pure will and lash out with his mind - it is not his forte, but he is capable of impressive feats of mental strength in this manner.
Outside his robes, Mel is a conduit of terrible energy. While he does not have the command of it he has when in "void-shape", he commands a great deal more of it. Telekinesis gets the strongest voice in his powers in this state, but the dangerous power is difficult to command without the rigid control structure of a sensory deprivation suit, and because he is held rigid in a single form, it manifests in his physical body rather than in the immediate world. It takes more willpower and control to be weak and not crush a teacup like dryer lint (cutting up his hand and spraying shrapnel everywhere) than it does to walk around in a world made of shoddy glass.
Character Name Donovan ("Bunny") Age 27 role Hacker/Butler/sane driver/all purpose bunny! <3 Species Rabbitoid - he's a clone and a cyborg, bred for service to the void princes. He is exactly as his father before him in every way (except personality)
Physical Appearance If you could look at anyone and think "That guy is a butler" then you'd think that about Donovan. His coat is silver and brown, mottled with gray spots where the silver meets the brown. He dresses in a dark red and jet-black suit with dark gloves. His ears sweep back along his neck, framing the ponytail of black hair, every strand bound strictly away from his face. Otherwise, he is completely unremarkable.
personality Donovan, "Bunny" to his master, is quiet and honest, and does his very best to be polite and proper in all situations, for it is his role to be guidance and a steady hand by example to his master. Fat load of good it does. He is absolutely loyal, and thats the problem - he's left to chase his master's fancies and endure his "Cruelty".
After all, if there were nobody to be sane and rational all the time, what fun would there be in insanity? He secretly enjoys the freedom, of course, and with his bred-in loyalty to his master, he is left to chase Mel's flights of fancy and look after him hand and foot despite any protest.
There is some sort of love between Mel and Donovan
Bio/brief history Donovan was cloned from a stable genetic structure into a cybernetic framework, just as his father was before him. From birth he has been at Melchoir's side, the two raised in parallel by cane and stern hands, just as their fore-bearers. Donovan underwent extensive virtual training - combat, social graces, the ways of his master and how to look after the needs of the mysterious princes. While it is his job to protect and look after Melchoir, it is not his job to question his master's decisions or tell him what to do. It is to Donovan's groaning 'despair' that his master is so unusual.
Special Equipment Sword: Donovan is trained in the use of a rapier, and carries a special ancestral blade with him, forged of meteoric iron alloy. The blade does not lose an edge, and shears more ordinary metals without nicking or dulling.
Implants: Donovan's cybernetics are secret, but they are extensive, as important and guarded as the ways of his master, their presence masked from external detection. They are usually invisible, their elegance lost on onlookers. You only know he has them when he uses them - he can interface with computers remotely, show feats of superhuman strength and agility, and other things. Again, most of the time these 'talents' are invisible.
Normal Equipment .38 pistol (with cleaning and casting kit), a variety of types of ammunition (hollow points, armor piercing, explosive tip, extra clips), a pump-action double-aught shotgun with shells and supplies, a variety of care kits and repair supplies for his cybernetics, medical supplies, some food supplies, all in something he calls his "Hazard Bag" - a fireproof, bulletproof 50 pound suitcase with a slim profile - he carries it with him whenever he would need it.

Donovan is well-trained and is knowledgeable in many fields of study. He's deft with his pistol and his shotgun, a quite-capable swordsman, on par in training with a medical doctor, a capable hacker, an awesome cook, he knows 7 languages fluently (four or so more in smatterings), he's familiar with several xeno-cultures (with a firm grasp of manners and polite behavior), and... the list goes bloody on and on.
