Kazumi watched as jax ran she followed quickly behind her friend. she shook her head and went in her mind ohh no.....he didn't......He did She shook her head as she ran remembering that she had made that very same mistake a few months back.
She had been robbing some high tech weapon development labs. She had no idea what they were she was robbing them because she needed the tech, and two she was trying to keep her skills up to par. Well they sent the girl after her about 3 times......She got away 2 times once after killing atsuko once.....That didn't really work.
Did jax seriously know what kind of fury he had just unleashed by the simple act of running. Kaz seriously wished she had brough some of her homemade explosives, or maybe one of her guns. All she had was her wristblade and dragon tooth sword. those would have to do she thought as she drew out the dragon tooth from its compartment in her arm.
The blade was collapsed right now and just looked like a hilt of some weapon she stopped when she caught the smell of gas and quickly spun to the left and getting to cover right behind the wall as the ball of fire erupted from the room. "I'll give him this he doesn't fool around." kaz called out to atsuko as she went headlong into the room to face jax.
At that instant she activated the sword. The blade sprung out of the blade and began crackling with electric blue energy and even began humming a little as she waited for her own opportunity to get an opening with jax.

Jax had to admit to himself, he had expected more of a sense of bewilderment to the flames, smoke, and brillent escape route. He had been kinda proud of it. The smoke raising, the fire red and hellish, and she just slid under it and then his world was briefly coated entirely in pain. The twin feet impacted Jax's chest sending him flying backwards, his chest a explosion of pain and his back secondary explosions and he careened into a grouping of metal stools, he winced, his back and chest screaming pain... she had probably at least cracked a few of his ribs, not to mention what his spine was going through. He peeled back his teeth and growled unconscious of the action. The words he hissed out didn't come from the conscious mind but the deep dark savage parts of his psyche. Tangled in the stools he stood up, his rage supplanting pain as impotent.
He felt the cold touch of metal on his skin, could feel the firmness, the dependability of the bones of the earth and that brought him comfort. He could count on it if he could get them on his side. He burst from the tangling stools bent slightly from his impact and grabbing the nearest one while ignoring the shooting pains firing up and down his nervous system, ignoring agony and possibly broken bones he swung the stool... not at the pink haired woman but the counter next to him. Two of the legs held firmly in his grip the welds holding the pieces of metal comprising the stool together shattered under the unkind impact, the fer mica countertop shattered as well but that wasn't the object, as the seat and other pieces of excess metal came off the angry young man was left with what he desired. Two metal sticks.
"As I thought, good metal, cheap welds. Typical."
He swung a fast blow with the metal club in his left hand, the lever long enough a whistling notice to pink haired menace, he was unsurprised she dodged it as his intense green gaze swept to the two women.
"Little girls should know I have not even BEGUN to exploit this school."
His right hand shoot out, he didn't know what the new girl was holding and he didn't intend to find out. He didn't want to fight them both at the same time either so he would just have to even the odds a bit. The crooked leg whistled as it spun through the air, not towards one of the girls but instead towards one of the overhead lights. The bulbs contained within exploded under the impact despite it was not a direct hit, rather it impacted the housing, the sides ripped and shredded by the impact and the stainless steel leg poking out of the electrical housing. The light was dead... but the wiring was still quite live. The particular light was one nearer the mystery girl and most importantly not to far from one of the strangely non-active sprinkler heads set in the ceiling.
"Thanks Skula."
He muttered before speaking towards the new girl.
"Now little pretty miss thing. I suggest ya stay the @&*# over there or else I might ave ta do something drastic and let the rain come in. I think even freaks like ya won't do so hot with a few thousand volts."
It was mean and immature but he figured he deserved a few verbal shots in. As he spook he grabbed the remaining stick in his hand and spun for another strike... only this time his foot lashed out as well, hooking one of the other fallen stools with the toe of his boot he launched it towards the animalistic enemy of his and jabbed outward with the club in hand, not a clusmy swing like the rest but a business meaning jab with a metal rod ending in a ragged broken end... and in mid stab... he dropped it to the floor and continued the spinning momentum imparted by the launching of the chair, falling to a knee he launched a right upward hook and regained his feet as the uppercut continued, he had stolen that move out of a game about fighting on the street and with a normal person it would be laughable. It didn't look laughable when Jax tried it, no when he kept the twisting momentum still going and swept his foot along the path he was in towards the legs of the female fighting him.

"No, he really doesn't, does he..."
"I haven't begun to exploit this school!" Jax announced. Atsuko wasn't much for theatrics, but the hellcage was a lot to take in - this bought the american some time to talk big as her eyes wandered the inferno of a room he'd made - what a playground... no more running, not for him. No, he was too dangerous.
When the metal whistled through the air, she reached up almost as an afterthought and caught the good piece of stool with a raised hand, making a SMAK sound audible even in the inferno JAx had created, stopping it dead without apparent effort. From her distracted position, she turned her eyes upon him. This boy didn't know what he was in for. Then again, maybe he had some idea. After all, he'd tried to run. Kasumi had tried that, as well... it wouldn't work, not on her, but it was the thought that counted.
The other bar swung wildly and created something of an environmental hazard.
Good. Atsuko preferred a fair fight to an edge. She nodded to Kasumi - it was alright, after all, if Jax wanted to battle her one on one. KAsumi, by now, surely knew enough about her to know that this was what she would have wanted anyhow. To be sporting, she tossed the stick back at the man, unsurprised that he caught it as well.
Using the spin of the catch, Jax kicked a fallen stool right at her. She had to kick it to avoid being bashed senseless, but Jax was already pressing the attack - that was a sufficient distraction to send the jagged edge of the jabbing metal to scrape across her back and side, eliciting a hiss of pain and causing her uniform to rip a little. Then, his body dropped, his form spun, and he thrust his fist upward at her, striking her dead on in the chin, giving her air with the assistance of a little hop she'd intended to let her dodge him.
Conciousness flickered for a second as her head was jostled, but she opened her eyes just in time to see a spinning foot whistle past her head, even if it was intended to knock out her legs. She grabbed his passing foot with a hand, and used its momentum to right herself midair, landing on her feet and one hand very low to the ground. Her head rang from the blow to her chin, but she had no glass jaw - she was a warrior.
No sooner did she skid to a stop did she kick her legs up from behind her, flipping directly to her feet without seeming to pass through the air inbetween, pink hair flashing behind her like the tail of a comet as she stepped into Jax's stance.
A thrown punch with a trailing kick that used the spin of her momentum were intended mostly to get her close to him, to bring the man into range of a jagged, jacket-clad elbow that came like the wrath of god, aimed directly at his ribcage without losing that deadly spinning momentum of a dancer.
Something flashed from her sleeve and grazed the jetting flame of a bunsen burner gone mad as she passed - and started to fizz! Then another, as her other arm passed it, swinging a comet of a backfist at Jax's face as it moved - two tubes, marked with bright colors... were those roman candles? She got in nice and close, and, pointing the... unusual choice of weapons directly at him at short range and grinning broadly, the first charges came out.
THUNK!

Kazumi stopped and relaxed slightly as she pulled out her pistol, as she saw the nod atsuko gave her. She sighed and shook her head, she did indeed know the girl well enough to know she preferred her own brand of honor. Kazumi on the other hand had no such preferences because in her world you held onto whatever advantage you have and don't give it up unless in dire circumstances.
Kaz let her blade go lower and looked above her seeing the electricity flowing from the roof and his plan to shock her. Sure it would hurt, but she had been hit with worse volts, she watched her mind going to her pistol. She would take the first shots she could the instant she had an opening when atsuko decided she would want some help dealing with jax. Her legs though at rest helped coil her body so that when she moved she would evade the electrocution. Her muscles tightened her eyes scanning jax for abnormalities behind her sunglasses.

The more he fought the two the more Jax began to suspect how over his head he was she had taken his best blow and remained standing, and the other one... seemed to have taken out a gun as was just watching them. His eyes flickered that way as he watched the two move... and the split of concentration was enough, his guard distracted as she kicked and punched her way closer, he was able to dodge the kick and the punch but the spin into an elbow... he just wasn't good enough. The hard surface crashed into his sternum and exploded into agony red spots exploded in front of Jax as the air was pushed out his lungs and his chest screamed in agony. She had known just how to hit him, just what to do. It felt like someone lodged a sledge hammer in his airways he couldn't breath, couldn't scream in pain as she pointed her arms at him and... out came sparkly balls of light.
They burned, they each hit him sending out puffs of smoke, of fire, and carbon, each one hitting a sleeve, his chest, his face. He wanted to scream, to swear, to fight but he couldn't fight, couldn't do a thing. He felt helpless... through sheer force of will as fire began to crackle on his cloths he managed to whisper.
"wa....ter..."
It was barely audible as the balls of fire pelted him but above the water sprinklers held inactive by his friends will came to life, the familiar hissing sound of air being forced out came first... and then the water came down, spray hitting the piece of metal in the light fixture which did not spark as electricity to it was cut off, it sprayed out and hit the fire causing it to sputter and die, it doused the fireworks and the flames rising on Jax's body. He backed up and fell back, his head banging into the side of a counter as he sat on his backside, his body aching, his hair dropping as the water soaked it and the floor. His eyelids dropped from pain and the cigarette in his mouth fizzled and died. He looked up at the two and tried to figure out what to do next.

Atsuko didn't say a word as the sprinklers went off, soaking the three of them, the room giving off a hiss as its thirst was quenched. She didn't touch him on the ground, but she didn't get close, either. She just faced him a little, anger burning in her heart as she worked her sore jaw and adjusted her stance, her scraped side aching at her, glad for the cool moisture. Even injured and angry as she was, she was not a naturally cruel girl, she'd give him a second.
After a moment, she broke the radio silence.
"Don't know what you thought you were about - " she said levelly, popping her neck as she tossed aside the two now useless roman candles. "-talking big like that." she never let her eyes off of him, not for a second. "On top of that -" she waved expansively at the remains of the science lab, her voice carrying over the din of falling water. "-You've shown nothing but contempt for anyone but yourself. 'Haven't begun to exploit this school'... tch" she shook her head, the fire in her eyes burning brightly.
"You don't deserve it, Mr. Gardener... but I'll give you one chance at this, now that I'm sure I've gotten your attention." she glared at him, icewater in her eyes. "Come with us now, or I will destroy you." An odd wording, Destroy... but Atsuko found that words like that had more... bounce to them. This was one of her favorite things about english - she had so many words to choose from! Just the same, the look in her eyes and the severity of her stance held no room for negotiation. From the looks of her, she meant it

Kazumi moved out slowly as she watched jax take those final two hits from atsuko. She sighed to herself as she watched her hand pointing the gun at jax her sword behind her held like a knife or something reverse handed. The pistol remained trained on jax's head.
"I would recommend giving up now "Comrade". (***hole)." Kazumi replied her long cat like ears twitching a bit as she kept her eyes trained on him. It was hard to distinguish her expression as her eyes were covered with some sort of organic sunglasses, her eyes were completely covered by a thin black shell.
Her coat billowed behind her a little as she waited to see what jax would do, the feral part of her waited aggressive, it screamed at her to stay on guard, or was it to finish the man now and save the trouble that could come. She knew he was no demon, that didn't mean he wasn't a monster of some kind. She kept her eyes on him her body still coiled and tense as she waited for atsuko or jax to make the next move.

Jax listened for a moment as the water continued to pour down, his head and shoulders slumped, his body aching. Then his shoulders began to shake with his head bowed and the water streaming down he appeared to be crying forlornly, for a kingdom broken, a loss sustained, but then his head tilted up and the smile on his face became evident and the chuckling began to rise in volume, and chuckling became laughter, laughter the was echoed by a female voice from every nearby speaker. Their multiplied laughter grew in volume nearly shaking the windows and then suddenly without warning it cut off.
"Did ya hear that? Skula... they are asking me ta accept defeat.Ta just pack it in without a farther fight while she insults me by saying all I can do is talk the talk."
"Oh indeed I hear. I believe they are asking you to surrender."
Jax looked at the woman who bad mouthed him without a trace of rage, of fury left, all that was left was amusement.
"Bad word."
"Very bad word."
"So how about storytime little girls? Once upon a time born from the norse god's was a steed unlike any other, an eight legged horse."
Jax's ring began to vibrate on his finger almost like the being using it as a channel was dancing with excitement. Jax's smile grew.
"His father was Loki, god of fire, he could stride across water, sky and earth, from the land of the living to the land of the dead... and people think those beings were just that... myths..."
In one push of his legs Jax's sprung to one knee and slammed his ring hand into the tile beneath his feet cracking it.
"I WILL SHOW YOU MY WALK! I WILL SHOW YOU A MYTH IN FLESH! I WILL SHOW YOU MY SON!! SLEIPNIR REBORN!"
The cracks in the ground extended stretching towards the four compass points, straight perfect lines coming from random cracks, the walls shook with the roar of an engine that seemed to come from the bowls of hell itself, the windows undamaged on the edge of the room shattered as the noise increased... and as suddenly as it appeared it vanished, the shaking ceasing utterly... for a moment there was no noise, no sound... and then the floor in front of Jax exploded and a being arose through the floor, a massive thing that due to the ceiling above could only rise till it's waist was level with the hole in the floor, it's shell a mass of mostly black metal and chrome, with flames that though they seem painted on they moved with a life of their own. It's hands clasped on empty air as if searching for something they could not reach, it's eyes glowed in the rain from the ceiling, one eye pure mechanical, a lens of green glowing glass that peered out with a dead gaze, the other glowed a pure white light, the eye was uncovered and spherical, a eye missing it's lid, but the intensity, the gaze was richer, alive. It saw before it and what it saw it found... wanting.
The back of the being opened, metal panels sliding and mechanical tendrils fired forth engulfing Jax, once their a black liquid spread from them, covering his flesh, his clothing, a misshapen blob that smoothed out, that gained shape. It was a biker's outfit that seemed a century too soon to be their, a helmet that formed from liquid and turned to a solid, engulfing his head in a form fitting helm, arms coated in an organic armor, and metal tendrils plugging into his spine as his neck arched back... maybe in ecstasy, maybe in agony. Regardless the form, a heroic looking figure clad in black was seen just for a moment before it was drawn into the massive figure and the metal panels slid shut. The lighted eyes glowed bright, flaring with new life and a familiar voice boomed forth but louder, firmer, and amusement pouring from every syllable.
"I don't know who ya are, I don't know why ya are fighting me."
The machine began to move with a hideious smoothness, nothing mechanical should move with a flow that organic, with that much grace as the fingers stopped their greedy grasping and curled into fist, the arms pulled in tight in a ready position.
"I don't know what ya deal is or who sent ya."
The ground around the waist of the behemoth shook as despite the sturdiness of the floor it moved forward, shattering tile as if it were rice crackers.
"And ya know what... I DON'T GIVE A @*$*!!!"
The metal plates making up the forearms of the thing pulled back, seperating for a moment and something slid through the gap left, the shape was unmistakable, undeniable as they slide forward adding another forearm length to the mech, now attached to the forearm of each arm just touching the back of the hand were two massive chainsaw blades, they roared to a horrid hellish life.
"SO LITTLE GIRL! LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT I AM ABOUT! AND WHAT I THINK OF YOUR ONE CHANCE!"
